The Panamax Lightning Protection module is specifically designed to protect electronic pet containment system transmitters against damage from lightning. The unit contains two protectors – one to stop lightning currents from coming in on the loop wire from underground into your AC conduit and the other a completely separate system to protect your AC power connection. This unit will not protect other kinds of equipment against lightning or AC surges.
