Which Dog Training Collar is right for me ?
So, choosing the right dog training collar may not be the easiest decision you'll ever make. Let's be honest - if you've been shopping around a while, they can really start to look alike in a surprisingly short amount of time. But at the end of the day, buying a quality training collar that's going to do what you need, exactly when you need it and last for years to come shouldn't require a PhD from McGill or Yale as a pre-requisite.

We do not carry nor endorse any units with less than a 1/4 mile range - this is to negate any possibility of short fall in usable distance as the batteries wear down. In our experience, a collar with less than 1/4 mile of range just isn't worth the money - period. This longer range basically means the transmitter sends a stronger, more accurate and reliable digital signal to the dogs' collar over distance. Your dog will never be "out of range" again with any of these units.

Over years of Professional field testing, we have proven repeatedly that the low end, bargain priced units just don't hold up. They do not perform reliably or consistently anywhere near their "claimed" distances - nor do they last very long at all out in the field - regardless of the manufacturers hype or propaganda to the contrary.
