What is included in the Standard Radio Fence ?

Our PetSafe Premium Series, Lifetime Warranty equipment is manufactured to the highest quality control standards in ISO-9002 Certified Factories. The kits are complete in contents and include everything you will ever need to make installation easy and straight forward. Typically, these systems can be fully installed within 2-3 hours depending on the complexity of your custom design - even with two left thumbs !

Radio Fence transmitter RF-1010 for up to 2800ft wire or 10-acres ) - mounted indoors
500ft (150m) of 20g boundary wire - will enclose up to 1/3 acre. Need more? order below

Comprehensive and Easy-to-follow Installation and Training manual
2 sets of collar probes for long & short haired dogs
50 boundary training flags ( place one every 10 feet to help train your pet )

This collar is recommended for smaller breeds ( 8 - 60 lbs) and easy to train dogs.

A word to the wise on "FREE Battery" offers and realistic Battery Shelf-Life ...
If you are looking around online, you may have seen the 3-4 years of FREE batteries being offered by some of our competition - Good deal or smoke screen?  The truth is the manufacturers stated "shelf-life" on these batteries is just 1-year.  There simply is no super-mega-long-life version of the module - the collar uses a 6-volt Lithium battery module manufactured by PetSafe ™ - which is fully waterproof.  So, although 3-4 yrs of "FREE batteries" may sound like a great deal at the time - they will ALL be dead after 1-year.

The Initial training stages with your pet will place a higher than normal demand on the battery module until he or she is fully trained. For this exact reason, we recommend an extra battery module be purchased with your system. From this point on you should expect an average battery life of 4-6 months under normal conditions.

Why do I need Heavy Duty Boundary Wire for my Dog Fence ?
Basically to save you time and money in the long run. Inferior wire - as included in many of our competitors systems can break repeatedly if not well protected and is advised as such by the manufacturer.  In our experience, it is not a question of if the cheaper wire will break - it is simply when it will happen.  Ever wonder why you can buy a Wire Break locator? The last thing you want is to be out trying to find a wire break in the pouring rain or under 3ft of snow.  We offer an upgrade with our Deluxe Dog Fence to Heavy Duty Commercial Grade boundary wire - we were the first company to do this for our clients and set a precedent by doing so. Our Heavy Duty wire is 3 times thicker and stronger than the regular wire in the retail kit & most "Online" stores and has proven to be extremely durable in any climate - even above ground in the worst of winter climates! 
With nearly ten years of hands-on experience, we ensure our clients get the best system - and best wire - for their individual needs each and every time.  
This same wire is also used in Commercial Irrigation systems, and is designed to last a lifetime.
If you are planning on buying your wire locally (yes you can do this too), we recommend using an "RW" grade 14g or 16g insulated wire - as used in professional installations. The "RW" or "WU" prefix denotes wire that is Direct Burial approved - any quality hardware store or electrical supplier in your area should be able to help with finding the wire you need.
